Lizzie Logan Gets Married
Published in Library Binding by Bt Bound (October, 1999)
Author: Eileen Spinelli

Lizzie Logan gets married
I really liked this book. My favorite part was when Heather wanted to wear her dads football helmet because she was scared of bats. Bootsie cured Heather, Heather did not want to wear the helmet, not even to the wedding. Lizzie wore it instead because she decorated it for Heather and thought it looked to nice not to be worn. I would recommend this book to other kids.

Interesting, funny
I am in the fifth grade and I really liked reading this book, it is about Lizzie who is so bossy and likes to be in control of everything, she reminds me of a girl in my school. Some parts are really funny. I recommend this book for grade 3 to 5, it is very easy to read and you will not be able to put it down, you will want to read the whole book in one day.

Logan's World
Published in Paperback by Virtual Publishing (June, 2000)
Author: William F. Nolan
Average review score:

Even better than Logan's Run
I really enjoyed this book... it was less manic than first installment, Logan's Run, which crammed so many adventures into one 150-page book. Logan's World seems more focused, with Logan's main goal of first getting medicine for his ailing son, and then locating his beloved Jessica when she's kidnapped and presumed dead. I can easily see this book as a potentially exciting movie. It's a fun and suspenseful read for those who enjoy sci-fi with social commentary.

I'd recommend that the first book, Logan's Run, be read before starting this book -- there are many references to characters and events in Logan's Run.

Logan's World: A quality sequel
Logan's World continues the tale of a wonderful cast of characters created by William F. Nolan in his novel Logan's Run. This novel painted a picture of a world in which a post-apocalyptic society conserved resources and maintained social order by a strict system which included the mandatory death of all citizens on their 21st birthday.

The original work tells of the struggle of Logan and Jessica as they flee their protected "City of Domes" in an attempt to escape from the rigidity of that future world. They long to find a mystical place known as Sanctuary.

In the first sequel, Logan's World, the main characters return as they make their way through a world just beginning the healing process. They have learned the truth about their world and are striving to find their place in the new and exciting openness they've discovered.

Along the way they encounter triumph and tragedy, all the while continuinig their search for peace and security in their ever-changing world.

Logan's World possesses all the drama, intrigue, and action of the first novel. It allows the reader a chance to see more of the "world after the last war" and to place him/herself in the struggle, not only to survive, but to triumph in a world devastated and left to ruin.

Don't miss the opportunity to share the adventure, the romance, the drama of these incredible characters as they explore not only their world, but also themselves.

Marie's Book of Spells

From the author
I know some people might find it tacky of me to review my own book, but I was just so impatient I couldn't wait for someone else to write one first! Anyway, I wrote this book. I put an immense effort into it and, although it's very small, I believe this book to be somewhat worthwhile. It's 44 pages and contains around 20 spells. They are practical and can be used by just about everyone. They are easy to change in order to suit your needs. I think this book is great. The only downside is that it's small.

Marie's Book of Spells
I thought Marie's Book of Spells was a very well done book and easy to use. Been using the wishing well. It works. To anyone who has been using spells for awhile or to anyone who is new to it I would highly recommend this book.

Against the evidence; the Becker-Rosenthal affair
Published in Unknown Binding by McCall Pub. Co. ()
Author: Andy Logan
Average review score:

Pretty convincing argument that Becker was "framed"
This book covers what could be called NYC's "OJ" case. Charlie Becker was a crooked, ruthless cop. But did he REALLY order the execution of a gambling boss who had gone to the press about police corruption? ATE makes a pretty convincing case for his having been "framed" by the political powers that be.

The book also offers lots of glimpses into the old NY underworld.

Charleston Receipts Repeat

Average review score:

Repeat of original Charleston Receips
This is a much updated version of the original which my wife and I purchased when we lived there 40 years ago. It contains the wonderful low country recipes which should not be forgotten but adds more to our current way of an easier cooking without sacrificing what Charleston is all about.

"Classy Chassy", American Aircraft 'Girl Art' 1942-1953
Published in Paperback by A W Publ (1977)
Authors: Ian Logan and Henry Nield

Material to make you a Alberto Vargas fan for life
There are more books about WW2 nose-art, but none that I know of have this pleasing format. Though now twice as expensive as when i bought my copy, it is still available and is unique in my collection of nose art books in also showing the source -and that is for quite a few of the more pleasing paintings the fantastic-more-real-than-life-itself paintings of Alberto Vargas-
Though only 82 pages are given, and not all of them pictures (there is a 2-page foreword and a one page acknowledgements section), I rate this book just as high as the 92 page "World War II Nose Art in Color" by the late Jeffrey L. Ethell.

Intead Kyle left town with Libby to forge a new live in Chicago. Now 7 years later Kyle is back, a widower with a 3 year-old and a special talent for cooking. For the next 3 months Kyle is Grace's personal chef, a gift from Kyle friend and Grace's brother, Michael. Kyle and Michael are working to reopen an old resturant. As you can imagine Kyle and Grace dance around their attraction to each other. Old feelings, haunts, and events surround their story. As the store unfolds these situations and feelings are brought forth and shown how they relate to the people today. In the end Kyle and Grace realize their feelings for each other. Kyle recognizes the woman Grace has become and Grace sees beyond her teenage crush to the man Kyle is now. While overall the story was a good one I never got the feeling Kyle and Grace connected. Some stories you can feel the connection and that was missing in this story.

Finding Kendall (Delta Justice, No 52)

Author: Anne Logan
Average review score:

Delightful sojourn into the mysterious Louisiana swamp
Finding Kendall was delightful. While touching on the mystery of a south Louisiana swamp, it gives the reader a taste of the beauty and serenity of the area. Being a Louisiana native, I am always apprehensive about books/movies about the state, but this one left me wanting more. This is the first Delta Justice book I've read and I look forward to reading the rest.
